You aren't banned from the thread as far as I know. Moderating a thread is a perfectly legitimate tool for a lot of reasons. And even if you aren't able to "defend" yourself there, you can elsewhere, or you can set up your own thread. I openly debated something with you, proved you wrong as a matter of fact, and you claimed within weeks it hadn't happened. That's far worse than anything that's been said about your opinions on that thread. If you can't see the difference between petty "gossip", which by its nature is secretive, and statements about a topic in a PUBLIC message board which everyone in the world with an Internet connection can see, then I feel sorry for you. A little. Not much, but a little. As for my "upbringing", it included enough so I could sort out basic distinctions between gossip and statements of opinion about the legitimacy of someone's arguments and statements. Thanks for the psychoanalysis. I'll donate a nickel to Berkeley in your name.
