OT Scott, I invest in biotech stocks for a living. I'm in front of a keyboard all working day. SI is a good resource for me and I enjoy discussing biotech. I know I have a problem and need help :-)

Reality check...?

Feel free to ignore the thread and any discussion you see here - I can't imagine why you bother yourself reading or posting on the thread at all. But you are certainly unusual - in over 10,000 posts to this thread over several years yours is the first I recall that has whined about it.

If you have doubts about the collective savvy of SI biotech participants I suggest you take a look at some sample portfolios over on the charity challenge thread and compare them to the Nasdaq or S&P for the year to date. (Biotech Jim's portfolio is a good place to start).

Not that it's really any of your business, but I work 50+ hours a week at a real (non-biotech) job that fortunately generally gives me flexibility about exactly when I work. Other participants on the thread that I know personally include doctors, lawyers, investment professionals and biotech scientists. Together they give us all something unique - the ability to share their strengths and views in a way that benefits everyone.
