This snooping is an old issue. But I wonder why the Demos have not made an issue out of it? Anyway here is an interesting read.

Former Dean supporters cast their vote

Howard Dean's campaign may be a distant memory in many minds of Democratic voters, but his message lives on.

Utica-based pollster John Zogby says the former Vermont governor's anti-Bush rhetoric is still striking a chord with Democrats.

And even though Dean is out of the race, Zogby sees Senator John Kerry tapping into that support.

"It's an anger, but an anger that wants to win. That's the difference between Dean and Kerry. In 2003, Democratic voters in the early primary states told us that we weren't going to win anyway, so we were going to go down in a blaze of glory. Dean was their man, but after the turn of the year, the closer we got to Iowa, the more voters said "Hey, we can win this, we have to win it,” said Zogby.

Zogby sees Kerry winning the nomination, and then thinks he'll pick Senator Bob Graham of Florida as his running mate.

As for the general election, he says it could be even closer than the 2000 race.
