Important and relevant facts are frequently buried deep inside and article. Both the headline and leading paragraphs, as well as the portion you selectively posted, lacked that information.

Isn't Glenn's status as a partisan, ex-U.S. Senator important and relevant enough to put it in the lead? Nah, that would expose his partisanship at the outset, diluting the impact of his politically biased statement.

It would be like interviewing Sen. Bill Frist on a medical issue, and referring to him as "Dr. and ex-heart surgeon Bill Frist," without mentioning until near the end that he's also the Senate majority leader and involved in public policy decisions.

Of course, in your hatred of Bush, you appear to have embraced democrat distortions, hook, line, and sinker. It doesn't seem to matter what they say, as long as it's anti-Bush.

Just wait until people start focusing on the REAL Kerry, his disemboweling of our intelligence and military leading up to 9/11, his flip-flopping at every chance so he can say he supported both sides of every issue, and his support for the very trade policies that encouraged outsourcing of jobs and for which he now blames Bush.
