Ted Re...Here's an example of a national guard archive in WI. Just remember that the records of service men are confidential. Therefore, Bush had to authorize their release. BTW the gaps are not due to the nat. guard not storing "unessential records" as your post suggests.

I don't have anyone's permission to go into his personal records, so I can't find out what information is stored. And I can't be sure that Wis natl. guard records, are stored the same as Ala. So, while that is a fine link, it really doesn't resolve anything. If there were records held back, I would think, someone would have found something by now.

You refuse to get it. The Nat. Guard has detailed records on George Bush. Unfortunately, there is at least one large gap in those records. And that gap exists not because someone forgot to do the paperwork. Now, you do the math!

If I am going to vote for someone, that person has to convince me that he is honest and smart, or both. Any other combination, he does not have to prove.

But, if that person NEEDS my vote, then, if the burden of an allegation has been made, he will have the burden of proving that he is honest and smart.

And you can trust me on this one, I have no duty to find out for myself, especially if there is evidence being withheld.

And I think you are beginning to see that the rest of the voter population feels the same.

Normally, politics is like a sausage factory. You don't care nor want to care how it gets made, as long as it is done.

But if it is not getting done, then you have to go to the factory to witness the process.
