I think allowing young children to see the movie without parental consent is arguably child abuse.

I know that if I were the parents of one of those kids, I would want my child to enjoy a few more years of innocence before learning that such cruelty is possible.

It will be MOST interesting to see
a) where the NYC teacher got the copy of the movie,
b)and then to see who approved it be shown.

Gibson said himself he was glad for an R rating of the movie, and that he didn't think it should be shown to children under 14....
