Bush let 9-11 happen, not Clinton. Why blame Clinton?
He hadn't been in power for ten months, during which time Bush was warned about the possibility of such hijackings by Al Qaida. He was warned just a month before 9-11 about it and did nothing. Bush also closed down investigations into the Saudis during his first six months in office and disbanded Clinton's counter-terrorism operations.

You offer no proof a Sudan offer was ever made that reached the White House or Sandy Berger. I heard Berger deny he ever got it and posted the quote too so you can call him a liar, but who are you believing?

The Fox News panel about it concluded that the "offer" was low level and didn't get any farther than an airstrip in Yemen. Same type of story as the one about Saddam offering to surrender a week before Bush's invasion. The question is, if those governments really wanted to send a message why didn't they make it clear instead of using shadow back channels which ended in cul-de-sacs?
