"Why dont you blame AQ, Bin Laden, and militant Islam?" I haven't cast blame on anyone. I merely pointed out that blaming Kerry, and casting no blame on Bush, is not rational. "Hopefully, some day you and your friends will wake up from your pacifist/police action/church of tolerance dream. If not, then I hope you follow Carter and Kerry to the promised land... Of course, the promised land will require that your wife and daughters wear burqas and you will have to pray to Mecca 5 times a day." Why are you tossing insults at me? Who the "friends" you refer to? What have I ever said that indicates in any way that I am a pacifist or have "church of tolerance dreams"? Why are you making references to my wife and daughters? Why are you making personal attacks?

A less adept president or a president with a less adept team would have not risen to the 9/11 occasion and would have allowed the nations economy to sink into depression for lack of clear policy agenda. Think domestic president krugman raising taxes to pay for the war in 2001. Even if the war went well we would have sunk into depression and bin laden would have won. Think of fp President Kerry chickening out of going into afganistan making that speech about how the brits and ruskys got bogged down there for hundreds of years. He would have lobbed some missiles and today bin laden would be far stronger or the war would have been escalated and we in weakness we might have gravely overreacted. And as far as iraq goes, we would have let down our guard and who knows what that maniac saddam would have tried to do during an unsettle period. And yes Kerry would have sent Jimmy carter to the mideast to solve the jewish problem. mike
