>>> Party boy....the world stage doesn't count in the games we play today...helloooooooooooooo.<<<

I guess this explains Bush's position with respect to global warming!

>>>do you seriously think North Korea, China, Iran, Syria, and other beligerants give a crap about any world stage........<<<

NK, Iran and Syria? No. I think they're primarily concerned with their own housekeeping. China? Once its economic condition becomes stronger we're likely to see a new China. Have we been preparing for this? Could China take the USA's place as world leader? There's some stuff to mull over on this one. Could China take Bush's preemptive card and use the same card to take over Tawain? You bet! It's just that none of this is happening now. But tomorrow? Who knows!

>>>they react to force,subtle and brute force.<<<

An American S&M foreign policy is not one I'd cherish.

>>>why do you think Libya decided to abandon their nuke programs....????<<<

Libya had conformed long before the recent announcement. Don't believe me? Go review some of the messages regarding Libya on SI's DON'T START THE WAR thread. When Libya got its rotating chair in the UN, all the GOPwingers were up in arms. Today, they're practically kissing Gaddafi and exaggerating what Libya actually had.

You think the US went into Iraq to get the oil? What makes you think Gaddafi didn't want to sell some?

>>>Iran to start a dialog with the West....<<<

That probably could have happened earlier had Reagan not back Iraq against Iran. Yet another example where militarism failed.

>>>Syria to adjust their entire political imagery....<<<

Show me a before and after image of Syria. The Syrian ambassador in UN presentations seems pretty sensible, if you bother to consider what's actually been presented.

>>>North Korea to tone it down (force from China)....<<<

All poor little North Korea wants is a non-agression pact and some fair trade. What's wrong with that? Failing to get this it flexed its muscle (much like you advocate). Bush should have aimed his sights on both North Korea and Pakistan, instead of Iraq. After confronting the Taliban/Al Qaeda in Afghanistan, those were the real problems areas and Pakistan had a direct correlation to both the Taliban and Al Qaeda--Iraq had none!

>>>I have more but not enough time...<<<

Yes, it's time to check stocks--lol!

>>>Regards.<<<

Ditto!
