Israel didn't set up schools or hospitals or run social services. Go learn some facts, steve. Your ignorance is appalling. When Israel took the West Bank in 1967, there wasn't a single university. Now there are seven. Likewise, the top point for Palestinian per capita GDP was 1994, when most of the Palestnian population was handed over to Arafat. Palestinian GDP cratered during the Oslo years, falling by nearly half, and that's before the intifada started in 2000 and killed what was left of the Palestinian economy by cutting Palestinian workers off from Israel. It is their "brother" Arabs and their own leadership who have always kept the Palestinians in squalor, so they could be grist for the mill - and so Marxist-leaning leftists like you, who just 'know' that rich nations must have stolen their wealth from poor ones, it couldn't have had anything to do with their priorities over the prior decades - will root for them as 'third-world underdogs'.
