Buddy, I blame this one on the Democrats. They know what Republicans are like, so why would they trust them to keep a gentleman's agreement? There is nothing gentle or manly about them. <G> If they will commit burglary to steal Democratic secrets, they will certainly steal them when they're a click away. The Democrats have to stop acting like these are the old honorable Republicans of Rockefeller and Goldwater days. I should also add Eisenhower, who might have been a bit out of touch, but was certainly honorable.

No files were stolen or broken into. All the files were on the same open server. Was it wrong to access the files, yes. That has been established.

Now let's talk about what the left doesn't want to talk about AND what the spineless Republican leadership will not go after, the content.

The content of other memos is so incendiary, he said, "I may go to my grave with it because it would so damage the trust of the American people in their judicial system. I wouldn't reveal it, no matter what the partisan advantage." ------Manuel Miranda

But that won't happen. And if you can't see that the content is the crime here...............

The report was supposed to be released with the names of the individuals involved redacted. But a copy was mistakenly released with the names included. The report identified the two former Republican staff aides as Manuel C. Miranda, who had already been named as a central figure in the investigation, and Jason Lundell, whose name had not previously been known

Well if one EVER thought the nytimes had ANY integrity......
