i am very sorry to say i did not create a job last year. i hired someone, but also let someone else go, the person i hired is being paid much than the person i let go, so i guess that's something... (the person i let go lost her job to technology "outsourcing" as i no longer needed her back office services because of software and computer upgrades) but net/net it was a job "creation" wash. but we're all working harder, and frankly i'm dismayed that the president wasn't able to create a job for my particular business that would allow me and my employees to put in fewer hours (for more profit while he's at it) <edit> here's my first answer to "what would you do to create jobs" siliconinvestor.com
