I own quite a few of those preferreds you are talking about. They are usually callable at 5 yrs. The problem is many people like me who buy them ONLY buy INVESTMENT GRADE. IMHO Sunw would have to pay a lot more dividends for a junk rated issue. jdn

this isn't about liquidity...its about the most conservative of investor proxies doing the ole cya thang..however, it does spotlight the idea that sun micro does not have a business plan designed to make anybody any money, except of course those that get options tossed in their laps on an annual basis...;-)
