the men and women who died in service did so in earnest While I know it's pointless to attempt a rational discussion with the delusional, I'll respond to this because it hits to close to home. I still have the last letter I received from one of my best teenage friends. In his letter, he lyrically spoke of the insanity of VietNam. That was the view of him and many of his compatriots. How many of them died as well, I do not know. I do know that you are completely "off-base", in your delusional beliefs, if you don't think that many of the 58,000 died wanting only one thing.
