1. A majority of Americans work in service and retail now, I believe.

2. Almost nothing is safe from outsourcing if you assume that other human beings on the planet can be trained to perform as well as Americans. Kinda torpedos the "World's Only Superpower, We're #1!!!" rah-rah cheering section. Or makes it irrelevant, to be precise (I know, that makes me an America-hater, oh gosh).

3. Construction - we used a lot of Chinese labor in the 19th century and a ton of Hispanic labor since then. I don't know the ethnic percentages now in construction.

4. Doctors - a flood of Indian doctors the past two decades. Nurses - the US is draining the rest of the world stealing away their nurses to meet our shortages.

5. Retail outlets - a real rainbow now from my visits to Texas malls the past few years.

My point is, the US is already wherever you are afraid it is going. We will deal with it, we always do.
