they broke the computer fraud and abuse act.

That's interesting.The paragraph right above that states:

Miranda, an attorney, told Reuters on Thursday, "There will be no prosecution because there was no crime ... I was authorized to access whatever was on the (computer) server, and the Democratic files were on the server."

But you already have them convicted although it state charges might be considered.
