>>>....while liberals like you expect the government to take care of them.<<<

Yes, and if you look closely they will often couch it in humanitarian terms where, in fact, it's their own personal situation that they want/need help with.

it seems to me liberals are willing to pay their own way for their own well being while conservatives like you expect to be able to loot the average joe's savings and contributions to our society for your own personal gain.

What happened to our huge budget surplus created by working americans anyway?

No, I think you're misreading what liberals think. Consider this, for example. America with about six percent of the population uses about one-third of the world's resources and an even higher percentage of the world's energy.

There's a tremendous imbalance in the world.

>>>The income disparity between the world's richest 20 percent and poorest 20 percent widened from 30:1 in 1960 to 74:1 in 1997.<<<

>>>In order to pay that interest, the government must collect taxes from U.S. citizens at a rate of about $2,000 per American household. This money is siphoned out of the wallets of average Americans and then transferred to those who already own or control 90 percent of our nation’s private wealth, thereby steadily widening the gap between rich and poor.<<<

Liberals are concerned about the environment, health care and civil liberties and a host of other important issues--issues in consideration of others, not enhancing one's self.

I've always found it ironic that as children we're taught to share. However, once adulthood is achieved the game becomes keep. No wonder society is all messed up!

Which do you prefer, the game of sharing to help make the world a better place? Or a game of keep that is couched in "conservatives accept[ing] personal responsibility for their own well-being?"
