To me there is a difference between Bush using his RESPONSE to 9/11, versus his using 9/11 in and of itself.

He can use his appearance on 9/11 and thereafter, footage from Afhganistan and Iraq, etc. He looked very presidential at the time.

But using footage of the attack itself is, imo, fear mongering. That is the truth. Would you be content if he shows smoldering pieces of unidentified flesh?

It would be similar to Kerry using the image of the naked little Vietnamese girl running down the street after her village got napalmed.

As the last of true moderates you are exacly correct and in more normal times, this view would be virtually unanimous. But these are not normal times. Now lets wait for the kerry in combat add. Mike
