There was little question that she was guilty of what she was charged, but this would never have happened to the average person on the street.

I hope for the sake of justice that the judge/jury takes that into consideration during the penalty phase.

I'm not a fan of Martha, but the system should be equal for all citizens and this business of making an example out of one person doesn't pass the smell test to me.

I agree, but it is simply amazing how much ENVY is out there. Anyone and I mean anyone of notoriety that is accused of ANYTHING is assumed guilty.

What most miss is: that she was convicted on the testimony of ONE witness -- who changed his story -- the very ONE that supposedly gave her the tip in the first place. I grieve for Martha and the shareholders of her company. They've just been run over for the heckuvit, IMO.
