Oh, good heavens, Laz! Surely you question statistics and the methods used to arrive at those numbers. 400,000 deaths per year attributed to cigarettes? Have you forgotten my missives discussing death certificates (actual/possible cause of death) and autopsies (virtually nonexistent)? So, how did they (there's that nebulous "they" again) arrive at those numbers? I do believe the numbers attributed to deaths by fires started by cigarettes. That's pretty concrete. But the others?
