Hi Iqbal,

Thanks for that colorful and informative biographical sketch of General Gul. You paint him as a fairly dreadful hypocrite with imperial ambitions. In that respect, he's not much different from Rumsfeld and Myers after all. :)

Maybe it is the case that "absolute power corrupts absolutely" no matter what one's religion happens to be.
