Look to ATI Wah Chang works with specialty metals.

I bumped into it while looking at Niobium, a metal that had a high price during the space race. It may be once again.

Before space shuttle, capsule re-entry the atmosphere and need light heat resistant materials to protect them.

Once the space race ended and space shuttle came along, and flew back instead of falling and being parachuted, Niobium's value vanished.
Now -after Bush new space initiatives- engineers want to go back to the old way to get space crafts back to earth by dumping from orbit and parachuting them. Niobium may be of more value again.
