Bush's SEC Adventure Molly Ivins wrote a terrific article about the SEC investigation of George Bush concerning insider trading of Harken Energy shares. She wrote that Bush Sr was President, the head of the SEC was a Bush Sr appointee, and the SEC Counsel had been Bush Jr's lawyer. The investigation was dropped but Bush Jr was not exonerated. Have been googling off and on for the shorter newspaper article, but couldn't find it. Did find this excerpt from her book. randomhouse.com
