Hi Larry,

I did not have to remove the older NAV 2002. I just now checked and the version I have is Norton Antivirus Professional 2004. There is a very good user manual that came with it and I see on page 28 it says "If you have an earlier version of Norton Antivirus Professional, the new version automatically removes the earlier version. If your version is earlier than 2002 , you must uninstall it before installing the new version. If you have any other antivirus programs on your computer , you must uninstall them and restart your computer before installingNorton Antivirus Professional."

My NAV 2002 was not the professional version. It was the one furnished with my Dell computer when I bought it in 2002. But it still got deleted automaticaly when I installed the new version.

Larry,

FYI

I just noticed by reading the NAV 2004 software box that there is a comaparison chart comparing the regular NAV 2004 and the Professional versions and it says the license for 2 computers is only on the Professional version.
