Dear lying and libeling kenny, home ownership is at an all time high. Yes the President is a genius of leadership.

I consider a person who owns his own castle as wealthy. Now the numbers are and have increased. President Bush is making more Americans wealthy.

A higher percentage of the population owned homes in 2002 than at any time since 1980, according to the Housing Vacancy Survey, conducted by the US Census Bureau in conjunction with the Current Population Survey.

The home ownership rate for 2002 was 67.9%, up from 67.8% in 2001. This is the highest rate since the Census Bureau began reporting these statistics in 1965.

By region, home ownership in 2001 was highest in the Midwest at 73.1%, followed by the South (69.7%), the Northeast (64.3%) and the West (62.5%).
