Think we need to figure out a way to separate health care from employment. Health premiums may be one of the biggest impediments to aggressive re-employment of folks, who are now temps/part timers.

The solution offered is always a National Health Insurance scheme. The companies seem to be going to a "fixed outlay" program. They will pay so much per hour of wages, and buy what is available for that figure. The employee pays the rest.
