of course I want a good economy, because I am an investor and growth stocks are underperforming now. In fact, I attribute a lot of last years growth stock gains to a reaction to those initial GDP figures, where people erroneously assumed a 99-type recovery was on its way. Some are still waiting for it and maybe thats why we haven't crashed.

But anyway if we do get a good economy, I want it to be built on a solid foundation vs. the BS that we have seen from the Bush team thus far. I heard that blonde woman on fox try to call this a "goldilocks economy" about a month ago. Sorry, thats not what we have. We have some kind of liquidity driven event here. And when Elaine Chau says "the stock market is the real indicator of the economy" that tells me where this bush economic team lives, in their own reality.
