Don't feel bad cnyndwllr, only the intelligent have ever been banned from this thread. I've see 4 or 5 others banned for exactly the same reason you've been banned for, being able to eloquently refute the ridiculous things claimed by the far right posters. If they don't have an answer they either call you stupid or get you banned or both. The only thing different in your case is the the thread creator was the one that banned you. Usually the trick that is used is to bait the person over and over in an attempt to get him/her to say something which is against the terms of use and then complain relentlessly to the admin to have him banned from all of SI. I don't think that works as well as it used to because they are more tolerant of coffee shop threads now than they used to be. Actually you should feel relieved that you've been banned from this one, it the worst thread anywhere on silicon investor to try and have any kind of rational discussion about politics. As you may have noticed most of the republican posters here are so hard headed they see everything in politics as either all bad or all good. Anything junior and his gang has anything to do with is all good. Everything that happens which is bad is a democrats fault and anything they do is bad. There are plenty of other boards which politics are discussed on. Just click on "hot subjects" above and you will see some of them. Not all political boards are on the hot subjects list, others can be found by going to a persons profile and seeing where he has been posting. We need more level headed and intelligent posters like you. Good luck.
