mish the problem I have with your deflation scenario is that The Govt would print at any cost to prevent deflation. Also james Grant makes some great points infering that the scenario we are in HAS NEVER LED TO DEFLATION. The houshold balance sheet is getting very robust, and there is way to much money out there. The only way to get deflation would be through a RE or Stock crash wherin Assets disapated quickly. I am befudled, want to be in deflation camp but things just doent add up.
