A post 9/11 depression would have been better i suppose? We had deficits as far as the eye could see under reagan followed by sopping 'em up with several years of surplus. With a war and a depression to face, bush rightfully did not try to micromanage what was spent by congress. Now as we regain our economic health, spending must be far more discriminating and yes, perhaps some tax rates might need adjustment. Its the democrats who would tax folks to death to put their social agenda in place. Mike
PS i was joking about comparative bank accounts between you and UW. I know that you believe what you believea and you probably have more money than UW and me combined. You can afford to be a liberal. <g>
