I've been their favorite premium payer as well.

can you describe what kind of policy you have? ours is a non-HMO (preferred provider?) family policy, $2500 per-person deductible with $400 monthly payments. the monthly payment was $300 in December 2002, jacked to $350 in Jan 2003, jacked to $400 last summer, and going to be jacked to $450 next month. meanwhile, co-pay increased from $15 or so to $40.

one concern i have about major coverage-only plans is that you might not get the network discount, and thus have to pay exorbitant rates for pay-as-you-go expenses.
