Redistribution of wealth is part of what keeps the US the US. Wealth and power naturally concentrate. It's like a snowball rolling downhill, get it going and it just keeps getting bigger and bigger taking all the snow with it. The problem with concentration is that it leads to things like monarchy or dictatorship. Didn't the Republicans just get rid of dictator Saddam? Didn't the Republicans just redistribute his wealth? Are you calling Bush a closet Marxist? Geez. If you stop labeling things and look at them factually, they won't seem so scary.
