"Japan or Argentina": maybe a mix. Demand from China is driving up commodities, especially steel. Suppliers of steel parts are trying to renegotiate what are now suicidal contracts with auto makers. The minute auto makers raise prices sales will fall off. I would say that there are enough cars and trucks in good condition in the U.S. so that sales could go to zero for three years.

I think we will get a horrendous combination of inflation in some areas combined with deflation in others.

There will not be much work available in the United States for anyone with a low IQ.

I have learned a lot over the last six months. It was an expensive school: $145,000 to essentially rebuild much of my house and put in a new steam boiler. Contractors and subcontractors took care of the quality work, and it was extremely high quality. At the same time I have tried to hire cheap labor for simple jobs. The high-paid people, whether American, Mexican, or whatever worked hard, fast, and efficiently and did excellent work. But some people cannot even be taught how to tie up a bundle of sticks correctly or hardly to put leaves into a plastic bag. Or at least not by me. This is not a racist comment; I am talking about white guys who either came into the world with nothing upstairs or who blew it with drugs, liquor, and so forth.
