"also noticed that Bush is in Crawford being photographed in front of old barns. The stories of him are about hunting, fishing and cutting brush"

You mean they showed him at his home? Crawford is where his home is - right - not just a political prop?

Bill Schneider (CNN political analyst) this morning mentioned that this election is going to be about Bush's performance. People are going to carefully watch what he says about his performance. And Kerry will, as part of his campaign strategy, be able to keep the focus on Bush's performance.

He also analysed that Bush's attempt to paint Kerry as taking positions on both sides of an issue could back fire on Bush. Number one it goes to show that Kerry has been there long enough experiencewise and hence will surely do much better than Bush when he came with no experience in 2000. That he had no experience and failed miserably is what Kerry is going to focus on. Secondly, Kerry could use that Bush charge to his advantage by saying that he is a realist and not a idealogue since he is capapble of changing his views based on the merits which comes with changing times. So Bush has to be very careful when he goes around saying that Kerry has been on both sides of an issue.

Kerry is a much stronger smarter candidate than Gore.

Bush is all image and no substance or intellectual curiousity...IMO, he can NOT win the election if he runs on his real track record...I expect Karl Rove and the GOP to launch a massive creative deception campaign...Kerry will have to fight back aggressively -- in politics you either define OR be defined.
