I wasn't thinking black ops. I was thinking nation building. Or perhaps simply interest.

A few years ago in one of my outside-the-box exercises I threw out the idea on another thread, one more suitable to exercise, that maybe the US should annex Africa. (We had been talking about annexing Canada.) If we want to rule the world, which we apparently do, I think a case could be made for it. <g>
