we have one available in california from Blue Shield. Not Blue Cross that I know of, only Blue Shield. The deductibles are either $1700 or $3200. They call it an MSA plan. You get all the benefits of blue shield pricing, which is 60% less than "retail" or more (a symptom of what is wrong with the system imho). Also if you use an in-network hospital there is an out of pocket cap per year, I can't recall how much. So it really is a perfect plan in my view, not expensive but covers what you need.
