Give Reagan some credit here, since he bombed Kaddafi, Mohammar has turned from a Desert Lion into a Desert Rat and in the last decade into a Desert Mouse. Don't forget Kaddafi was trying to get Saddam to surrender and cooperate with the US. Kaddafi has ben a moderate in recent years. The guy grew up and maybe got some psychological help. Now he wants big oil contracts from the US majors. That's wat this is really all about. And the Texas cronies of Bush want access to Libya's fields of sweet light crude. Libya's WMD's threat is totally hyped. Even if he has them he was no intending to ever use them. That's why he's giving them up. Also, we have proof the Cheney types deliebrately hyped Libyan reports to make Kaddafi still look like a threat. I have posted those articles already. First-hand knowledge from witnesses that the DOD repotrs were changed and hyped just like the Iraq WMD's hype. If you want to understand Bush-Cheney, remember it's all about grabbing oil, charging more for it and getting re-elected. Nothing else really matters to these guys.
