If they were living in "concentration camps" in 1967, they were Jordanian/UNWRA "concentration camps". You got a problem with that? You should. Jordan invested nothing in the West Bank, NOTHING, and certainly no one heard a peep about "Palestine" while Jordan had the running of it. In 1948 - 1949, 700,000 Arabs left Israel, and 800,000 Jews left the Arab lands. The Jews were quickly resettled in Israel. The Arabs were left to stew in "camps", so they could be perpetual refugees, including their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren on to remotest posterity. Who pays for it? We do. As US taxpayers, we pay the lion's share of UNWRA mechanism for supporting perpetual "refugees". Did you know that the mission of the normal UN refugee body, the UNHCR, is to resettle the refugees ASAP? But the Palestinians got their own special UN body, UNWRA, whose mission is only to feed them and run the "camps". The camps have been cities for decades, of course. I remember seeing a documentary shot in a "refugee camp" near Bethlehem, and I noted that the kitchen in the apartment in this "camp" had granite counters. Why not? It's a permanent city. What I said was that Hamas got hearts of the people by building up social services. You have a problem with that? A huge one. When I first learned that the PA (which has gotten literally billions in foreign aid, the highest per-capita aid in the history of foreign aid anywhere) didn't do social services, but Hamas did, that's when I first understood that Oslo was ruse. The PA never had any intention of running a state. I never said Hamas was stupid. They are not stupid, and they are not corrupt. They are just a very evil death cult. People turn to them for food, and pay for the food in dead sons lured to shehada .
