Movie review:

Tonight's movie is "City of Ghosts",
featuring Matt Dillon, James Caan, Natasha something, Gerard Depardieu and a host of Cambodians. Directed by Matt Dillon.

This movie fought the good fight against excessive spending, and won. It's a bit slow paced and appears to have been filmed without a lot of unnecessary second takes. It does have a lot of Cambodian music wailing on the soundtrack.

It features lots of dirt, humidity, mud, unpaved roads, unpainted walls, and general third world poverty. The story is a sort of crime drama, with an attempt at sinister atmospherics and plot twists.

It is a film not to be missed, because it features two durians, and Matt Dillon's character asks "are these things supposed to smell like that?"
