The facts of Kerry's divorce are right there for anybody to study. She testified that over a period of years he called her obscene names and otherwise verbally abused her, took money from her accounts without her permission, used hard drugs regularly, spit on her, and smashed her in the face and body with his fists. For him to claim that's "ancient history" and "personal" is ridiculous. This is one nasty, vicious, cowardly, fortune-hunting bully.

Nope. Kerry has lied, see previous post about his letters...

You do not speak for America, a lot of people do not like Kerry one bit, that is why we are reading more and more that Bush will probably win the election.

Love him or not you have to admit he's formidable, smart, caring, tough and honest.

What's wrong with admiring John Kerry?

There is nothing wrong with respecting and admiring political leaders, though the nature of the beast would suggest that we always remain vigilant and critical. I would suggest that the extent of your admiration has blown out all of your filtering capabilities.

John Kerry is not God. He has certain admirable qualities and more than a few undesirable qualities. As far as the American people are concerned, he is not yet defined. Whereas you may find him, "A strong leader. A no-nonsense straight-shooting guy", others, including myself, find him calculating, nuanced and indecisive.
