In Buffet's letter he says they are now financing Clayton mobile homes and holding the paper. This is a BIG mistake. He will eventually look back on that investment choice and compare it to his foray into US Air. Also read FNM wants to enter this in a big way. You can't imagine the losses these guys are going to take on this. Some of the sharpest finance guys I know took a beating on mobile home financing. It just doesn't pencil, sorry. These buyers are the first to walk away. Mish......nice post by the way
