Good article in the NY Times today that many gays are gainst maariage, but are remaining silent. Wisconsin legislature voted against it this past week.

This gay marriage issue is a typical nonsense that seems to attract some of the Americans whom I term extremely foolish. Who the hell cares about the definition of marriage. When they divorce they go to the civil courts. It is all about property and wealth that is at stake during a divorce. They don't go back to the churches where they generally get married, do they? Then it is stupid to make this an issue. And stupider still when the President gets involved and starts to take sides instead of providing leadership by weaning away the nation's attention from such frivolous issues.
