Who says the person making 200 K - 50 million a year is working hard? The Bush tax cuts for the rich benefit mostly those who live off stock dividends and trust funds. Sorry but the cut off has to be somewhere, 200 K or 290 K, whatever. Somewhere in there. The people Kerry really wants to roll back the tax cuts on are the idle rich. The permanent rich. The big fat cats. Mainly the ones making 2 million a year or 20 million a year or even more. The Dick Cheney types. They don't need the extra 200 K a year in tax cuts.

Working wealthy people can shelter their income in other ways. Bottomline though, Bush created this huge deficit so the people he rewarded the most now have to chip in to pay the debts down. What ever happened to fiscal conservatism in the GOP?
