Correct. That is why I speak of relative values vs. standard deviation.
Note also that open interest figures are day-1.

Take those CoT ramblings as confirmations or infirmations of a move. Not more. And on the PoG only. Other CoT data and o/i on other commodities do not follow the same rationale. I have no such CoT charts for silver and silver equities are a big chunk of my NAV.

Btw, April o/i for the contract of April futures was on the low o/i.
No simple explanations. <ng>

Don't try to time price with o/i. My observations show that the trend change in (the Tueasday dated) CoT is about 2 weeks before the price trend change. Two weekends.
Leaves almost a week after Friday's CoT publication to figure out a trade.
