You took that line of Kerry's out of a bigger speech where he warns Bush not to rush in unilaterally. See, leaving out the rest of a speech is a lie. You can't just take out one line which fits your propaganda purposes. I know it's tempting but that's just weak. I have read Kerry's speeches on the Senate flor on Iraq from 2002. They are full of warnings and conditions. He supported invasion only as a last resort and if Bush went the UN route, let inspections go forward, prepared a large coalition and a post-war plan. Bush did none of these things despite promises he would.
