Many interesting studies and poll results can be found at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce website-- legalreformnow.com Today's Wash Post contains full-page ad from this group about a recent poll ranking the 50 states in terms of business unfriendliness re: lawsuits, unfair court systems. Top six "friendly" states by rank: Delaware, Nebraska, Virginia, Iowa, Idaho, Utah. Worst six: Texas, California, Louisiana, Alabama, West Virginia, Mississippi Would be interesting to see figures measuring how business attitudes toward various state legal systems correlate with state unemployment rates.
