Gottfried, Probably a lot of truth to that, but many of the analyst price targets as of today are also below the present day price. AMAT, for instance has approximately 20 estimates of target price running all the way from about 20 to a high of about 40 with the overall consensus about 30 - and of course with the stock presently at 21.42. Other stocks obviously have different values, but for the most part, individual numbers are both above and below the present day closing price. Don
