You're obviously a diehard Bushie so no facts will convince you.

Now that is REALLY funny. Yeah. Like I'm posting all over the hard core Bush sites. Yeah, right.

You're just mad 'cause I called you on a claim that wasn't backed up by the cite you provided, and for which you haven't provided any proof at all.

Just because I call Kerry not honest doesn't mean I call Bush honest. Get real. They're both politicians. They both believe, I think, that what they're doing is best for the American people. But in the end they are both most concerned with getting and maintaining power. And they are both willing to do whatever it takes to get and maintain power. Which means taking money from anybody who will give it to them, promising whatever they think they need to to get elected, and once elected doing what they think they need to to stay in power and get re-elected.

And if you think otherwise, you're beyond my help.

The only politician in this race who I think is even remotely committed to honesty is Nader, and no, I'm not voting for him. But at least he has a track record of doing good things and not caring what people say about him. Which makes him the closest thing to an honest politican one can get.

The only diehard believer here is you. Look at you, posting all over the Kerry threads. That's diehard. Look at me, not posting a single word to the Bush threads. That is hardly diehard. In case you can't tell the difference.

Oh, there was a time when was a diehard believer in a politician. Kennedy was my man. I would have gone through hell for that man. Until the facts about him started to come out. After that, I grew up.

Eisenhower may have been the last thing close to an honest politician. After that, money took over, and where money takes over, honesty takes a back seat.

I don't say I like it, but I understand it.

Some day you will, too.
