Kerry has always been for making sure Saddam is disarmed. The only way to know if he is disarmed was thorough inspections backed by a real threat of force. At the time Bush invaded, there was no need for invasion. The Un inspections backed by US troops in Kuwait was working.

Now we own Iraq. And the Texans have their oil-fields. It is going to be a big net loss for us though having to manage that place and the Texans dont like paying taxes. No way out without replacing Bush and bringing in the UN to manage the new government.

The problem is that no other countries trust Bushies, not even most in the UK. Not even many in our military and CIA. Nor our State Department. The Halliburton ripoffs, CIA agent outing and WMD's lies have taken care of that. Bush's war is also hugely expensive at a very bad time for our federal budget and there is clearly no connection between 9-11 and Saddam, though Cheney will still not admit this obvious fact.
