Firstly, I didn't write that, Raymond did.

Secondly, I'm no lover of US foreign policy but I do believe that "hundreds of millions of innocent people" is a more than a little bit "over the top".

Thirdly, since it's clear that Raymond was very upset when he wrote that sentence you will recall I advised him to "get a grip" on himself.

I'm no lover of Saddam Hussein, either, but before anyone decides to condemn him for what he did it's well to bear in mind that he was a big ally and friend of the US/CIA throughout the whole period that he was busy killing people and putting them in mass graves. I refer to the Iraq/Iran war which, in fact, he fought as a US proxy against the Ayatollah. As we know, millions perished in that war and so mass graves are no surprise and no secret.
